We are working to address the needs in characterization of the diseased conditions and soft tissues in surgery, prediction of treatment outcome and treatment options. Our efforts are focused on development and validation of techniques that could potentially lead to safe and effective cure.

Ongoing Research Projects

Cervix Monitor for risk assessment of spontaneous preterm delivery
The project addresses the critical challenge of identifying women at risk for spontaneous preterm birth, a leading cause of infant mortality and health complications globally.

Stress Strain Imaging
The objective of the study is to develop a new technique for detection and characterization of endometriosis, adenomyosis and uterine fibroids.
